Neuropsychology Center
The Neuropsychology Center is a
comprehensive clinic and laboratory with a tripartite mission of
- patient care
- education
- research
Located on the 5th floor (Suite 564) of
Hofheimer Hall at Eastern Virginia Medical School, The Neuropsychology
Center has provided neuropsychological assessment and interpretation to
more than 300 children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients with
known or suspected brain dysfunction in each year since it was
established in 1986.

Faculty and students within this
program have provided further care through affiliations with other area
treatment and educational programs over the past several decades, including past
consultative services to The Endependence Center, Riverside
Rehabilitation Institute, the Virginia Department of Rehabilitation
Services, Cape Henry Collegiate School, Eastern State Hospital and
Chesapeake Bay Academy.
Currently, we are engaged
in ongoing consultation and clinical service work with Sentara Norfolk
General Hospital's Rehabilitation Unit and Tidewater Pastoral
Counseling Services.
