The Department of Internal Medicine provides primary and
subspecialty diagnostic and health care services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric
patients. The division of primary care specializes in primary care, general health
assessments, and consultation for complex medical problems.
The six subspecialty divisions provide state of the art
consultation, as well as in- and outpatient care for patients with specific medical
problems. The qualifications of the staff encompass general or primary care internal
medicine, cardiology, diabetes and endocrinology, geriatrics, pulmonary and critical care,
sleep medicine, and infectious diseases and AIDS.
