Eastern Virginia Medical School is dedicated to medical and health education, biomedical research, and the enhancement of health care in the Hampton Roads region.
Our primary goal is the education of compassionate, skillful physicians
to serve in a variety of health care and academic settings.
Excellence in patient care requires a firm foundation in the medical sciences and clinical skills, combined with an empathetic attitude and the ability to apply scientific methods to the solution of medical problems.
The EVMS curriculum is designed to:
-
Provide a firm foundation in the medical sciences and clinical skills.
